Weekly Report: 1/15 - 1/21
Showcase happened! The night of the showcase was the best singular night of 2018. Everyone came. I invited 49 people and only 3 did not show up. It was the best. I got to see everyone I love come out and support me and more importantly, the ISM program. My favorite teachers from Bledsoe and Pioneer came to see everything I had done so far this year.
Original work is due tonight at 8 pm. That is in less than six hours. I need to finish my citations and upload everything I had worked on relating to my original work paper.
I need to find a mentor. Now that original work season is coming to a close, I need to reach out and get interviews. I need to make calls because the only way I can get a mentor is meeting as many professionals as I can. Coach Beagle gave me the contact of an aerospace engineer she knows, so hopefully I can land an interview with him and see where that takes me. It is time for me to return to my September antics and cold call and interview often.
Half the year is gone. Time has gone by so quickly recently. It seems like everything has been a nonstop rush and I feel like things are finally going to calm down for a little bit. I will finally have more time to reach out to old contacts and find new ones.
